Taste of Charlotte Festival 2021
October 1-3
For 3 days, this festival features menu samples from local area restaurants. Head over to Truist Field to snack on these delicious foods and also to enjoy live music, children’s activities, and unique shopping booths.
Circle K Speed Street & 600 Festival
October 7-9
This annual festival will take place in Romare Bearden Park and will include live entertainment, access to racing’s biggest stars, giveaways, and interactive displays. Then, don’t miss the NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 10!
BuildStrong: Festival for Autism
October 9
Come and enjoy a festival with good food, beer, games, and even a cornhole tournament - all while benefiting local children with autism. You won’t want to miss this festival in Symphony Park at Southpark, benefitting children from our area.
Build-Your-Boat Competition
October 16
Head to the U.S. National Whitewater Center and watch competitors navigate their handmade vessels in the whitewater channel. On the same day, you’re also encouraged to participate in yoga classes and there is a cider-tasting event as well!
SCarowinds
September 17-October 31 (select nights)
SCarowinds is the largest Halloween event in the Carolinas, so you won’t want to miss it! Carowinds, the area’s premier theme park, turns into a “scream park” this time of year. There are over 500 monsters, ghosts, and goblins lurking around the park ready to scare the daylights out of you, day or night.
